Firstly.....welcome back to all our 2nd year students and a "General HELLLOOO" to all the newcomers :DAs you now all have BLOGS and are 'following' me, + others, I thought this would be a good opportunity to highlight our *** NEW *** Music Studio. This now opens up fantastic opportunities for ALL our students on the MEDIA & GAMES Courses, from Level 1 up to Level 3, initially, then we hope to offer more "Cross College" opportunities across all sectors with an 'on-line radio'...just one idea that we can now explore.
As the Studio is still being finalised this is something we will work towards for offering next year. For the time being everyone is very keen to get everything 'up-n-running' and being really 'hands-on' with all the new kit, specialist recording booth and of course start recording all our buddin' musicians, rappers, singers [and talented staff] too.
Don't forget....Tuesday 12:15 till 1:00ish is the MUSIC CLUB - there has been a lot of interest for this, even more so with the Games Club - Thurs @ 4:30.... so where possible we will be offering additional 'Club Times' hopefully on a lunchtime, but this is dependant on rooms & staffing, so please bear with us till half term to finalise what we can offer.
All we ask is that you respect what we offer and look after all the equipment - a lot of time, energy & thought went into putting this together and we hope to be offering this for some time yet - Enjoy, explore and maybe one day we can be famous hey? :D
